Musicrooms.net: Live Review: Lethal Bizzle At Stealth Live Review: Lethal Bizzle At Stealth ================================================================================ AmanPanglin on 13 December, 2007 Truthfully I expected more from Lethal B's performance at Stealth in Nottingham. Entering a sweltering hot club and waiting for the performance to begin, I can for the first time say the wait was not worth it. Previously seeing Lethal B at the NTU Union Glo Bar for the UK Takeover I admired his manner with the crowd and ability to keep up the pace but that was when he performed nothing but 3 songs. On his own tour however he falls slightly short. He oozes potential and maybe it was the technical difficulties which held him back, which he didn’t handle too well. By the third time he got quite pissed off about the ‘embarrassment’ he was suffering but still didn’t think to spit a freestyle or two while he was waiting for the difficulties to be smoothed over. He is truly at his best when performing sing a long tracks such as the More Fire Crew song ‘Oi’ (he brought along Ozzie B for the ride too) and Forward Riddim, though his collaborations with indie bands are good they were crying out for a live band. Maybe it just wasn’t a good night for him, maybe the club’s atmosphere was just a bit too ‘children pissing about in the playground’ for me, maybe it was because I wasn’t drunk. Whatever it was, something was missing, he can do and has done so much better. That being said, everybody else ate it up but then again the crowd was made up of over-excited teens.
