When talking about UK Hip Hop, Blak Twang will always be-the-one who will be talked about as "The influencial rapper". Coming from London open Mic sessions, parties and radio, Blak Twang's amazing lyrical skills built him a massive underground following and was soon recognised nationwide.During the late 90s he released a string of classic-hit-singles such as, 'Real State', 'Queens Head' and 'Dettwork South-East'.
In 1998 Blak Twang releasd his first album '19 long time'. Blak Twang was the first UK Hip Hop act to win a Mobo award in 1996 (Best Hip Hop act).
