As part of the soundtrack to the film Step Up, Ciara releases (or re-releases) Get Up.

It's standard and formulaic, doing the obvious by getting a semi-famous, well known rapper to spit a few bars to hit up a bigger audience. It's a decent song, nothing too vocally challenging for Ciara though it does make you want to dance and I suppose that is the main purpose of it.

It's nothing different from Ciara but it is radio-friendly and the video should work for her advantage considering her dancing is on point as usual and the cameos from Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan (from the film 'Step Up') don't hurt.

All in all, it's decent. Not great but decent. Basically what you would expect from Ciara.
