T.I Appeals For Bail

Lawyers for TI, who is still banged up after those previously reported weapons charges, have requested his release on a proposed $2.2 million bail.

But US magistrate Judge Alan Baverman has said he won't rule on the proposal until 26 Oct, and only then if TI's people can convince him a suitable home monitoring system is in place. Under the proposals the rapper would basically be under house arrest until the trial over all those charges of unlawfully possessing firearms, unregistered machine guns and silencers, which were piled up after the hip hop star was arrested ahead of the BET Hip Hop Awards a week ago. The charges are worse because they violate conditions of a previous conviction on drugs charges.
