Rapper Sues Biggie Smalls Documentary Makers
A former New York rapper, one William Troy McCune, once known, I think, as 'Supreme', is suing the producers of 2007 Biggie Smalls documentary 'Notorious BIG.
Bigger Than Life For $5million', claiming that footage of him battling the late hip hop star was used without his permission.McCune's complaint says of the DVD release: "This segment of the plaintiff (McCune) and Christopher Wallace is shown throughout the video and is a dominant feature in the extras portion. The use of the photograph, image, and likeness of the plaintiff, in the video by the defendants, jointly and severally, and acting in active concert was unauthorised."
