Nas Explains New Album In Song
Following the announcement that Nas has decided to change the title of his new album from 'Nigger' to 'Untitled'.
The rapper has given AllHipHop.com an exclusive track, in an attempt to once and for all explain the album's former title.Included in the lyrics to 'N.I.G.G.E.R. (The Slave & The Master)' are the lines, "In the land of the blind, the man with one eye is the king / They say we N-I-double G-E-R / We are much more / but still we choose to ignore the obvious / Man, this history don't acknowledge us / we were scholars way before colleges / People afraid of criticism / But I always put myself in this sacrificial position / Anytime we mention our condition, our history or existence, they calling it reverse racism".
It's not clear if this track will appear on the new album, or if it is purely a response to criticism of the album's now changed title.
