Mos Def Is Set To Play Chuck Berry
Rapper and actor Mos Def is set to play rock and roll icon Chuck Berry in the new film about the legendary record label Chess Records.
Billboard reports that 'Cadillac Records' also stars Beyoncé Knowles as Etta James, Jeffrey Wright as Muddy Waters, Cedric the Entertainer as Willie Dixon and Adrien Brody as the founder of Chess Records, Leonard Chess.
Darnell Martin is directing the film, which is currently shooting in New Jersey.
Mos Def can currently be seen on Irish cinema screens in 'Be Kind Rewind'.
