Cosmetics firm L'Oreal have denied lightening Beyonce's hair and skin in a new advert.
The photograph of the singer in the two page ad in the latest issues of Elle, Allure and Essence appears to have been touched up to make her skin lighter when compared to other pictures of her.A statement issued by L'Oreal said: "We highly value our relationship with Ms Knowles. It is categorically untrue that L'Oreal Paris altered Ms Knowles' features or skin tone in the campaign for Feria hair colour".
A spokesperson for Beyonce said that the singer would make no comment on the matter.
