Kanye West Asked To Play Glastonbury

Michael Eavis has asked Kanye West to play next year's Glastonbury festival.

Festival organiser Michael has also revealed his first confirmed act and others he has in his sights.

He told the Daily Mirror: "We'll keep the Pyramid Stage traditional [but] we've asked Kanye West to play the Other Stage and The Ting Tings are confirmed."

Two legends of American music were also considered but neither now look likely to perform.

Michael told BANG Showbiz: "Prince would be great, but he's too expensive and Dolly Parton won't do it. We were considering her, but she didn't fancy it, for whatever reason."

Good luck getting Kanye to play the other stage lol, Kanye is the number one artist in the world now, so why can't he play the Pyramid Stage?

The reason Dolly couldn't do it was because she was in Glasgow, Touring her latest Album Backwoods Barbie on the night Glastonbury festival was being held this year but for next year i reckon will be the same for Dolly cause her tour is ment to take her right into 2009.
