Jay-Z has announced that he will play two gigs in support of Barack Obama this weekend.
On Saturday he'll appear at a free concert at the Cobo Arena in Detroit, and on Sunday will play a show at Bayfront Park in Miami. Both events are part of an attempt to get people to register to vote ahead of a 6 Oct deadline in both Michigan and Florida. Tickets are available for fans aged eighteen and over to pick up from at Obama's campaign offices in the two states.
