Janet Jackson is keen to get back on the road after postponing tour dates because of her previously reported illness, but still hasn't quite managed it.
The singer fell ill during a sound check in Canada recently, but promised to be back in action at the weekend in Connecticut.A statement released on Thursday of last week said: "Janet, who has been under her doctor's care and recuperating over the last week, is excited about getting back on the road and again being able to share with her fans what she feels is one of her best stage shows ever".
Her proposed return on Saturday fell through, however. Live Nation explained: "Janet Jackson's anticipated return to her Rock Witchu tour tomorrow (10/11) in Uncasville, Connecticut, has been postponed due to doctor's orders". The statement added that Jackson would resume her tour today, in Verona, New York.
