Dizzee Rascal Would Like To Work With Noel Gallagher
Dizzee Rascal has said he would like to collaborate with Noel Gallagher.
When asked earlier this year about Jay-Z’s headlining slot at Glastonbury Noel said hip-hop was "wrong" for the festival, but his remarks haven’t deterred Dizzee.
He told BBC Radio 1: "I don't think he hates hip-hop. He's into music.
"There must be some hip-hop over the years that he must have liked, or Liam. They're party animals, so somewhere they must have enjoyed some hip-hop track."
Dizzee, real name Dylan Mills, has previously teamed up with acts including Calvin Harris (on ‘Dance Wiv Me’) and Lily Allen (on ‘Wanna Be’) , but it’s his work with Arctic Monkeys, on 2007's ‘Temptation Greets You Like A Naughty Friend’, that inspired him to work with the Oasis leader.
He explained: "I'd still like to work with Noel.
"To me, it’s like working with the Arctic Monkeys. Obviously [Oasis are] older and they set their bar from earlier."
