Leona Lewis has announced she is to host this year's Mobo awards.

The event will be held October 20 in Liverpool's Echo Arena.

"I hope it's as good as last year's bash in Glasgow" she tells The Sun.

"The after-show party was one of the best I'd been to in a long time, with plenty of booze and nice grub."

"I sunk whisky until the sun came up with N-DUBZ and their crew - and almost missed my plane."
