Chris Brown to remain on probation despite glowing report
Chris Brown Singer Chris Brown has been denied his request to end his supervised probation early.
Gossip Cop report the singer’s lawyer Mark Geragos, went to court yesterday, (09.01.12) and argued that the ‘Beautiful People’ hitmaker’s good behaviour meant he no longer needed to be under a watchful eye.
A progress report released earlier this month said that Chris had “made great strides,” and mentioned that he had completed half of his court-ordered community service and carried out the required drug testing.
But unfortunately for the singer, judge on the case George Lomeli was not swayed and refused to change the terms of Chris’ five-year probation, after his 2009 assault on his then-girlfriend singer Rihanna.
Chris awaits his next progress hearing on July 10 when the case will be reviewed again - so for now he still has to report to his probation officer.
Well at least the R&B star can look forward to performing at Sunday’s, (12.02.12) Grammy Awards, where Rihanna is also expected to sing.
