Mariah Carey Wants To Star In Woody Allen's Next Film
The 40-year-old singer-and-actress is a huge fan of the iconic director, and would like him to consider casting her in his next project. Mariah starred in 2001 movie Glitter, which is often named as the worst film of all time. She recently won critical acclaim for her portrayal of a gritty social worker in Precious. Mariah is keen to avoid another flop, and thinks Woody could help ensure her acting career goes from strength to strength.
"I've never met him, but Bullets Over Broadway is one of my favourite movies ever," she told E! Online. "I can quote every word. I think it's amazing. I'm going to try to be careful about what I do now.
“You've got to work with people who bring you to another level, and you have to surround yourself with people you can fully give yourself to."
