Rihanna's Rumoured Boyfriend Throws Her A Surprise Party
Rihanna The singer was “shocked” when she arrived at a house in Phoenix, Arizona, and saw 40 of her closest friends and family waiting on Saturday. She was expecting an intimate dinner, but was instead surprised with hundreds of flowers, cupcakes, engraved bottles of her favourite spirits and a Jamaican chef who was cooking appetisers for the guests.
Baseball player Matt Kemp spent more than a month planning the soiree, even though Rihanna denies the pair are anything more that “friends”.
“There was a photo booth customised specifically for the party and an Ace of Spades toast upon Rihanna's entrance to the room,” a source told E! News. “She was stunned! It was so sweet and she was really surprised. She looked just beautiful.”
Halfway through the evening, Kemp brought out a cake decorated with copies of Rihanna’s various tattoos and led the guests in a spirited rendition of Happy Birthday. He then presented the star with a custom-made diamond necklace.
Although they refuse to admit they are a couple, Kemp and Rihanna spent her entire birthday weekend together. The partied at an Arizona nightclub on Friday night, canoodled at her birthday party on Saturday, and enjoyed brunch with friends on Sunday.
