Jessie J has confirmed her plans for a live return.

The 'Price Tag' singer was forced to pull out of a string of dates over summer after doctors ordered her to rest her foot – broken in rehearsals - but she has now announced she will perform at the MOBO Awards in October.

She said: "I cannot wait to rock the stage - I have always wanted to perform at the MOBO Awards and it's an honour to be asked. Good times!"

The singer will be joined by up and coming dubstep vocalist Katy B – who has had hits including 'Katy on a Mission' and 'Lights On' - and US 'Happiness' singer Alexis Jordan at the awards, which celebrate Music Of Black Origin.

Further acts to perform, and a shortlist of potential winners are to be announced ahead of the ceremony, which takes place in Glasgow on October 5.

Tickets for the MOBO awards are available to the public now, from www.mobo.com
