Joss Stone seeks kidnap plot reason
Joss Stone Joss was pinpointed by two men, who were then arrested close by her house in south-west English county Devon last month on charges of scheming to rob the 24-year-old singer as well as conspiring to commit GBH (grievous bodily harm).
While Joss has tried forget the frightening event, she has also admitted to being inspired by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s fictional English detective in an attempt to discover why she was targeted.
The Fell In Love With A Boy hitmaker said that the kidnapping plan “is a little bit crazy”, before adding that, “God, I could go on about that for some time”.
Joss continued by suggesting that she feels as if she’s “turned into Sherlock Holmes” when wondering: “‘Oh, OK, well, maybe this person? But, no, can’t be. Well, what about this time I went to this place and I told that guy to shove it? No, it’s not him. No, I don’t know’.”
The pop star also still considers the plot to be “crazy”, while her mum, Wendy, remains “pretty p***ed off” and upset by the situation, “let me tell you”.
Joss spoke to entertainment news programme Access Hollywood about the kidnapping scheme, saying that she believes “people are crazy and maybe they need a hug? Or a spliff? I don’t know…they need something. It’s very rude and uncouth… Like, ‘Come on, can’t you do something better with your Tuesday? It’s very, very weird’.
The Manchester men – Kevin Liverpool, 33, and 30-year-old Junior Bradshaw – accused of attempting to commit the crime last week appeared at Exeter Crown Court for a preliminary hearing.
Meanwhile, Joss has turned her attention to the super-group she has become part of, named Super Heavy, which also includes Dave Stewart, Sir Mick Jagger, Damian Marley and Indian musician AR Rahman.
