Kelis: My ex-manager was a mess

The award-winning songstress, who is best known for her hit single Milkshake, doesn’t feel that strongly about someone that she’d want to “erase” them from her past.
The stunning star married Nas in 2005, but their divorce was finalised in May last year. Kelis insists she doesn’t regret her short-term marriage, and would rather edit her former business manager from her past instead as he was incapable of doing his job effectively.
“I’m not a big regret person. I’ve been divorced, and I can still say I don’t regret it. I’m a big believer that of a bad situation happens, it is a lesson that needs to be learned, just once,” she mused. “The only person I still want to spit on is my old business manager. He was just really disorganised, a complete mess.”
Kelis has a strong self belief. The 31-year-old beauty, who has a two-year-old son called Knight, says she loves nothing more than proving people wrong when they say she can’t achieve something.
“The worst thing someone can say to me is ‘You Can’t’. My assistant tells me I can’t do something at least once a day and I’m constantly proving her wrong,” she explained in an interview with Attitude.
