Flo Rida released on bail
Flo Rida The Rapper – who failed to pass a sobriety test after being stopped by police officers on Florida’s Miami Beach in his black and red Bugatti car as he had swerved within a lane at about 3.30am – coughed up the $2,000 bail charge and has left the USA to play a gig in Thailand capital city Bangkok tonight.
The 31-year-old – whose real name is Tramar Dillard – logged on to his Twitter account to re-post another user’s comment in the microblogging website, which stated: “So it is confirmed that official_flo is on his way to Bangkok for his gig at Route66Club tmr night! FloRidaLiveBKK(sic)”
Just in case anyone interested was concerned about his upcoming shows in the east, Flo then re-tweeted another comment, saying: “official_flo will hit singapore on 16th june at wavehouse!! Club can’t handle him! (sic)”
Flo’s Bugatti – estimated to be worth about $1.7 million – was also released when a friend provided the towing fee of $115.
Not everyone was complimentary or sympathetic towards Flo, however, with one Twitter user, Anderson Cruz, writing: “Flo Rida got caught for DUI last night, he was driving his Bugatti, I didnt even know he had Bugatti money! (sic)”
Then yet another user, Mike Levine, was far from approving of Flo’s ability as an artist when he wrote: “Flo Rida arrested for DUI. how many subpar songs do u hafta get rich off of before u just pay for a cab/driver? (sic)”
