Was Rihanna's "groping" of young fan really that bad?
Rihanna Ok, hands up if you would happily give your right arm and left knacker to be touched up by super sexy singer Rihanna. Yes, just as I thought.
Rihanna has however dropped herself in it a bit by being pictured at a signing event groping one of her young female fans. The girl’s family have raised complaints after the photos appeared online today, and other fans have made their outrage known by their comments on the pictures.
The aunt of the girl said to mediatakeout.com, “I don’t know what she was thinking. I don’t want my niece even joking about lesbianism…not at her age.”
This follows in the wake of other controversies around the star giving a female fan a lapdance in Miami, and the video for her single Man Down, in which she is seen shooting a man in the head.
After having hunted down the images, I can’t help but think RiRi has been done an injustice. Yes she has a hand on the girl’s – remember when I say girl that it is a 16 year old I’m talking about – hip, but there is nothing at all sexual about the picture. Well apart from it looking like the 16 year old has her hand in Rihanna’s crotch! Perhaps if her family were so concerned about her seeing the star, whose on stage antics were far more sexually orientated, they shouldn’t have let her go to the concert at all.
