Mary J Blige And Andrea Bocelli To Duet At The Grammy Awards
Mary J Blige The soul singer and the classical star will cover Simon and Garfunkel’s Bridge Over Troubled Waters live onstage to mark the 40th anniversary of the hit song. Their rendition of the track will be available online after the performance to raise funds for the American Red Cross’ relief efforts in the natural disaster-ravaged nation.
Michael Jackson’s children are also rumoured to be performing at the Grammy Awards, which are due to take place on Sunday at Los Angeles’ Staples Center, where the ‘King of Pop’s memorial service was held last year. Prince, 12, Paris, 11, and seven-year-old Blanket will reportedly take to the stage to sing one of their late father’s hits.
Celebrity reporter Ryan Seacrest announced the news on his Twitter account, writing: "Just talked to the exec prod of the Grammys... hearing MJs kids may sing (sic)."
The Grammys will also feature a special 3D tribute to Michael Jackson, which will include solos from Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson and Usher.
Beyonce, the Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi, Green Day and Pink will also perform at the awards ceremony.
