P Diddy Left Fuming After Hired Crown Went Missing From Son's Birthday Party
P. Diddy was left fuming after the crown he hired for his son’s 16th birthday party went missing.
The rapper splashed out a fortune on the sweet 16 bash which had a ‘Prince of New York’ theme last weekend. He hired the M2 nightclub, invited celebrity friends and bought Justin a car worth $360,000. However, the excitement turned sour after the golden crown Justin wore at the party was lost and Diddy was informed he would have to pay $5,000.
Justin donned the regal headwear when he was unveiled to the crowd, but by the end of the festivities the crown was nowhere to be seen. Diddy had hired the accessory, along with two giant thrones, from a theatrical agency.
The 40-year-old star ordered an extensive search to find the missing item, which was eventually located. Diddy’s representative confirmed to the New York Post newspaper that the crown was found in a stylist’s car along with Justin’s change of clothes.
The party was filmed for MTV show My Super Sweet 16, meaning Diddy wanted to make it as lavish as possible. Guests at the bash included Jersey Shore stars Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi and ‘Pauly D’ Delvecchio, while Lil’ Kim, Trey Songz and Fabolous all took to the stage.
It was reported Diddy - real name Seam Combs – was planning to use the event to raise money for the victims of the Haiti earthquake, by asking guests not to bring presents but to donate to the relief effort instead.
