Kano has won Best UK Artist at America's BET Hip Hop awards.
The second annual awards ceremony will be honouring Kano for Best UK Hip Hop Act.Rapper Kano jokingly told MTV: "I won. Unlike the MOBOs, I won. They love me."
It could even lead to a move to the US, as Kano adds: "I want to try and get out there."
Although Kano has been announced as the UK winner, the awards don't take place in Atlanta until October 13.
