The Game Escapes Traffic Violation Charges
The Game has been told that charges against him for impersonating a police officer will be dropped if he doesn't commit any further crimes.
The rapper – real name Jayceon Terrell Taylor - appeared in court yesterday (September 20th) over an incident in New York last November where he allegedly tried to pass himself off as an undercover police officer.
It's understood that Taylor asked a car service driver to pass several red lights.
The judge at New York State Supreme Court said yesterday that charges against the rapper would be cancelled as long as he doesn't commit any further crimes in the next six months.
As reported by Gigwise earlier this month, however, the rapper is due to appear in a Californian court in next week (September 25th) to answer to gun charges.
Taylor was arrested earlier this year for allegedly threatening to shoot somebody during a basketball game at a college in Los Angeles.
If found guilty, the rapper could face a maximum of five years in jail.
