They sung his verses at the Mobo's last year when he couldn't attend and now they are finally coming together on a song. Boyband JLS are joining forces with hit-maker Bruno Mars, the Metro reports. Lead singer Aston Merrygold said: "We're working with Bruno Mars at the moment and I've admired his work for ages."

But the boys are setting their heights even higher, aiming to work with Usher and Rihanna. Merrygold confirmed: "We're in talks and it would be amazing if it happened."

The 23 year-old also quashed whispers that the group, consisting of himself, Marvin Humes, Oritse Williams and Jonathan 'JB' Gills, would ever split up. He said: "If JLS ever does end - which it won't - it'll be all four of us. We'll be friends forever. The group works and we're happy as we are."

JLS' latest single Eyes Wide Shut featuring Tinie Tempah is out now.
