Joss Stone: "The Press Are W*nkers"
Joss Stone has hit back at the British papers, calling them "wankers" for her treatment after her Brits debacle.
The singer, who looked pretty inebriated, came onstage at the Earl Court ceremony in February speaking in a dodgy American accent and sung lines of Amy Winehouse's 'Rehab.'
Stone says she wasn't shocked by the reaction she received the following day: "In a way I wasn't surprised. I've learnt that the Wanker newspapers don't build you up to be nice they do it to knock you down so there's nothing I can do."
She continued to mtv: "They (the record label) said don't do anything in the UK because everybody hates you. I wasn't allowed to speak but I'm totally not shutting up any time soon- I never have and never will."
