Last year West, 33, caused controversy when he ruined the 20 year old's acceptance speech by snatching the microphone off her and saying she did not deserve to win.
And this year's VMA host Chelsea Handler would like to reunite the country singer and Kanye.
The 35-year-old told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show yesterday: "I'd like to get them together.
"We've never really seen them together since then, they were supposed to be together on SNL [US TV show Saturday Night Live], but then that didn't end up happening."
"We'll try to think of something clever to do with them, because that would be really fun."
This year's Video Music Awards airs live on September 12.
