DMX in trouble with the law again

DMX is in trouble with the law again - just a day after he was released from jail.

The hip-hop star, who was only recently released from prison after serving 18 days of a 90-day sentence was stopped by cops for a vehicle code violation in West Hollywood, and taken into police custody because he didn't have a valid driver's licence.

The incident happened a stone's throw away from the legendary Viper Room club on Sunset Boulevard.

The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department confirmed that DMX, real name Earl Simmons, wasn't booked Thursday night, but is certain to face new charges.

DMX's last brush with the law came back in March after he allegedly violated his probation by using illegal drugs. He was released yesterday.
