Eminem surpasses 10 million Facebook fans
Eminem Famecount.com report that the rapper known also as Slim Shady - real name Marshall Mathers- is just the second living musician to achieve this after Lady Gaga and she now boasts a whooping 15million fans.
Indeed Eminem now finds himself among a rather select group since there are only four musicians who have gone beyond the 10 million post and its probably no surprise to find Michael Jackson uppermost on that list with 18.3 million fans, Lady Gaga is next followed by Linkin Park who currently have 10.3 million fans. At 9.7 million Lil Wayne tops the remaining popular celebs.
Added to that Eminems fan base continues to develop at a rate of four times that of the Facebook global average so say Famecount.com. Digital Analyst Jamie Gavin says this makes Eminem one of the fastest growing social media entities in the world.
The Detroit rap star also has 1.3 million followers on Twitter along with 158.000 YouTube cannel subscribers making him the 16th most noted individual on social sites in the world at present.
Also featuring in the Facebook top 10 is Rhianna who collaborates with Eminem on his latest release Love The Way You Lie. The pair is currently sitting pretty at the top of the US singles chart ensuring more online acclaim and wider appeal for the star.
