Pras not backing Wyclef's presidential bid
Pras Fellow countryman Pras said he dearly loves Wyclef but added he does not concur with his policies and is of the opinion that Wyclef does not possess any clear cut proposals to lift the Caribbean nation into the 21st century.
Talking about the January earth quake survivors Pras remarked "You've got 1.2 million people living in tent city right now. What are the plans to get these people out?"
The use of a private jet by Wyclef as opposed to a commercial one when he travels to Haiti was also commented upon by Pras who felt the funds could be better targeted toward those uprooted by the quake.
Indeed Pras has nailed his colours to the mast giving Wyclef’s rival Michel 'Sweet Micky' Martelly, his full backing explaining that he feels the Port-au- Prince born musician is more suitable for the top job.
Producer and musician Jean who formally declared his intentions for the post on Thursday has been under fire since.
Actor Sean Penn believes funds which his charity Yele raised following the earth quake have be used wrongly and thinks the singer has not spent enough time in Haiti since the disaster.
Wyclef hit back "I just want Sean Penn to fully understand I am a Haitian, born in Haiti and I've been coming to my country ever since (I was) a child."
The Haitian election is due to take place on November 28th with Wyclef jean widely believed to be the current front runner.
