EastEnders’ Nitin Ganatra teases Ayesha return
Nitin Ganatra has teased viewers about the return of character Ayesha Rana later this month.
The Eastenders starr, who plays Masood Ahmed, suggested his own character will be ”put on the spot” when Ayesha (played by Shivani Ghai) returns following her departure earlier this week.
Although he refused to give details on how his character will handle her latest advances, he left fans to speculate on where the storyline may go, particularly now Masood’s long-term partner Zainab (Nina Wadia) has left the show.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’ yesterday (08.02.13), Nitin said: ”I think [Ayesha] will return and put Masood on the spot again. She may even offer herself up again. What’s a man to do?
”I get a lot of pats on the back at the moment from the guys, and a lot of, ‘So? Will you, won’t you?’ ”
