Corrie bosses may send Kevin Webster to jail to explain his sudden absence
The show’s bosses are reportedly in a panic as to how to write out actor Michael Le Vell’s character since suspending him over sexual abuse allegations.
Sending Le Vell’s character to prison is one option being strongly considered according to The Sun.
Forty eight year old Le Vell has been a regular on the log running soap for nearly thirty years and viewers last saw the actor on screen just over a week ago, when police grilled him over the abduction of Tyrone Dobbs’ daughter Ruby and it is in connection with that that the soap’s bigwigs think they can explain his sudden disappearance from screen until the outcome of the actor’s trial is known.
Le Vell is due to appear before the courts again on February 27th in relation to an alleged nineteen sexual offences, six of which are rape allegations.
The actor vigorously denies all the charges against him and has vowed to fight to clear his name.
