It seems that perhaps the viewers love affair with phenomenon Big Fat Gypsy Weddings could be coming to an end as the Channel 4 show took a massive drop of 2.5 million viewers compared to the average audience for the first series.

The show which aired last night on Channel 4 was watched by an average of 4.8 million compared to the average of 7.3 across the entire series last year.

The show follows Gypsy Travellers and the communities they live in following a Cutting Edge documentary on the subject. The first series was a massive hit for the channel, making news headlines week after week during its five-part stint.

Despite the dipping ravings that you're still managed to win its timeslot beating the other channels with a 19.87% share of all viewers.

Although bosses are surely impressed with the win, they will likely be eager to find out just how many viewers have turned off for good.
