ITV could be about to revive Surprise, Surprise and are currently in talks with Holly Willoughby to present.

The show ran for over a decade in the 1980s and 1990s and was hosted by Cilla Black, who famously sang the theme song for the show as well. The series featured a combination of practical jokes and tear-jerking reunions on unsuspecting members of the public.

The word is that bosses want to bring the programme back for a one off special, with Willoughby at the helm, with the potential of a series to follow.

Willoughby is, however, a busy girl at the moment, already signed to co-host The Voice on BBC1 in the coming months.
