American Idol Season 11 premieres tonight on Fox
Jennifer Lopez It seems no time at all since Season 10 of American Idol ended, and tonight the new series kicks off auditions and the judging panel have been talking about what they expect from this year’s show.
Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler are again out on the hunt for the next big music star and the auditions start airing tonight on the Fox Network.
Talking to Fox All Access, Jennifer Lopez said, “It’s really how you have to do an audition…you have to impress those people or whoever is there at that table and then you go on from there.”
Aerosmith frontman Tyler added, “They are a lot more talented now than they were 30 years ago. They got savvy, they got stones to come out and do what they do in front of us and take the brunt of our judging them. It’s turning out some great talent.”
Tonight’s opening show features auditions from Pittsburgh and Savannah.
