Charlie Sheen has finally spoken about his new series, Anger Management.

The star’s first vehicle since being unceremoniously sacked from Two and A Half Men has been kept pretty much under wraps since the announcement that Sheen would be starring, but he was happy to talk about it in a new interview.

“I wanted to do something that ended better,” he said at the TCA press tour.  “I just wanted to do a show and play a character that dealt with more mature themes, that dealt with stuff that happens in the real world.”

The show is loosely based on the Jack Nicholson film of the same name, but according to Sheen it is “completely different and basically just using the title.”
