Howard Stern joining America's Got Talent

Controversial radio DJ Howard Stern has signed up for the next series of America's Got Talent.
Piers Morgan left the show last month to concentrate on his CNN talk show.
The show is being given a revamp, moving from Los Angeles to New York, with Sharon Osborne and Howie Mandel returning to the judging panel.
Stern told listeners to his radio show: "I’m going to Piers on steroids, a no-nonsense judge, it’s going to be something else... I am very excited.
"This nonsense of Howie and Sharon putting through less than talented people has got to stop. Under my administration there will be no Frank Sinatra impersonators winning for the year. If people think I’m the crazy man, I am not. I am the voice of reason.”
The last series was one of most watched non-sports programmes on NBC, won by jazz singer Landau Eugene Murphy Jr.
NBC's Paul Yelegdy said: "Howard Stern's larger-than-life personality will bring a thrilling new dynamic to America's Got Talent starting this summer. He's a proven innovator and his track record in broadcasting is truly remarkable."
America's Got Talent will start filming in February.
