Paula Abdul told Nicole Scherzinger to vote Rachel off US X Factor
Paula Abdul Nicole Scherzinger has revealed that she voted Rachel Crowe off the US X Factor because Paula Abdul told her to.
Judge Nicole had the deciding vote on last week’s show, with Nicole having the choice of voting off other contestant Marcus and booting him out, or voting for Rachel and taking the contest to the public vote.
With a little rise in volume, Paula was heard saying to Nicole, “Just take it to deadlock.”
Nicole followed the advice, taking the result to the public vote, which in effect saw Rachel voted out of the show, which led to a childish wailing cry from Rachel on stage and from Nicole on the panel after seeing the devastation she caused.
In addition, her decision also led to the singer receiving a number of death threats for choosing to take the show to deadlock.
