The welsh legend will soon be seen in a new Sky One comedy.

He may be a knight of the British realm, and is no spring chicken, but Sir Tom Jones is busier than he has been for a while and surprisingly it is TV that is giving him the work.

As well as appearing as a coach on BBC One’s talent show, The Voice, Jones will also be appearing in Sky TV’s King of Neds.

Talking to The Sun, a source said, “It’s very top secret but Tom has agreed to do it which is very exciting as he doesn’t often do acting.”

Well not any more it isn’t.

They went on to reveal, “He won’t be playing himself but his character isn’t a million miles away from his own.”

The show also features Brenda Blethyn and Alison Steadman.
