Keith Duffy reveals Coronation Street exit storyline
Keith Duffy Keith Duffy has revealed that his Coronation Street character will leave the show for good after stealing money from Nick Tilsley’s Bistro.
Duffy’s character Ciaran will be seen gambling away his wedding money on a horse at Christmas, and having lost it all, wife to be Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh) will explode over the discovery that their wedding money has gone. Desperate to make amends, Ciaran will rob the Bistro to get his money back but ends up getting caught in the act.
Seems like another Irish Corrie character heading to the slammer for robbery. I wonder if he gets put in a cell with Jim McDonald?
37 year old Duffy is leaving the soap after ten years on and off as the sometime barman, said that his departure from the show had definitely given him a challenge as an actor. He is now taking on a different role, in a theatre production in Ireland.
