Susan Boyle gets America's Got Talent standing ovation
Susan Boyle I still find it hard to believe just how popular Susan Boyle became in such a short space of time. Ok, she can sing, but in the same way as many other middle aged women who have graced the West End stage.
Still, Boyle has managed to do what the likes of Cheryl Cole just can’t seem to pull off by breaking America – an no one commented on her accent did they?
The singer was out in the US to give a preview of her new album on America’s Got Talent – the US version of the show that brought her to fame, and received a standing ovation following her performance.
Boyle’s previous albums have sold over 14 million copies and topped both the US and UK charts simultaneously. Her third release is expected to follow the same way when it comes out in November.
