Two and a Half Men: Ashton Kutcher’s character a broken hearted billionaire
By Margaret Finn on 04/08/2011
Ashton Kutcher Following months of speculation reports suggest Kutcher will play a loaded internet billionaire called Walden Schmidt.
The 33-year-old actor from Iowa was announced as Charlie Sheen’s replacement in the CBS hit sitcom earlier this year.
Recent reports suggesting Sheen’s character Charlie Harper is to be killed off were neither confirmed nor denied by Entertainment President Nina Tassler.
Kutcher has hard shoes to fill in taking on his new role, but the talented other half to actress Demi Moore, who at 33 is 15 years his wife’s junior, is likely to be up to the task.
Fans of the show will meet Ashton’s character on September 19th when the 9th series kicks off with a two part special in the US.
Rumours suggest the show opens with the funeral of Harper and Schmidt is among bidders in the subsequent sale of dead characters house.
