Steve Jones describes Simon Cowell as a 'Disney baddie'
Steve Jones The Welshman, who will host the Fox channel’s talent programme when it hits TV screens in late September, has previously been described by 51-year-old music mogul Simon as the only host that is better looking and taller than him.
However, the 34-year-old former model spoke to British tabloid newspaper The Sun, saying that “I’ll take that from him (as) he’s a good-looking guy itself”, before adding that Simon “is cruelly handsome – like a Disney baddie”.
Steve continued by saying he’s been furthering his friendship with another of the judges, former Pussycat Dolls lead singer Nicole Scherzinger, but pointed out that Simon hasn’t joined them on their work evenings out.
He said that “me and Scherzinger have hit it off big time (and) became very close very quickly” – even hitting “the karaoke like my life depended on it in Miami and did a rendition of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody”.
But Steve, who also presents BBC One show The Drop Zone, added that “Simon is difficult to get out – he’s like a bloody hermit” – before adding that “he stays in his penthouse in whichever city we are filming just hatching plans”.
