Joe McElderry 'happy to be out of the X Factor machine'

Joe McElderry The 2009 winner voiced his concerns that the new series may not be up to par compared with previous offerings.
Joe, who recently won yet another TV Talent show, Popstar To Operastar, said that although the new line up, consisting of American singer Kelly Rowland, Tulisa Contostavlos of Ndubz, original judge Louis Walsh and Take That’s Gary Barlow is “really credible”, he fears the viewers will miss Dannii and Cheryl, telling BBC’s Newsbeat: “I think Cheryl will be hugely missed, as is Dannii.
The Geordie lad. Who was dropped by Simon Cowell’s record label earlier this year, expressed his delight at landing a new deal, reportedly with the help of his former mentor Cheryl Cole, at Universal’s Decca.
Reports have hinted that Cheryl assisted Joe as a way of hitting back at Si for ditching them both.
