Eliza Dushku back on TV sceens for CBS Series
Eliza Dushku For many, the best thing about 90s teen vampire series Buffy was the feisty Sarah Michelle Gellar kicking ass as the lead, but for the brunette lovers among us there was only one girl we wanted to stake us – Eliza Dushku. And after a long wait, she’s coming back to the small screen.
Dushku was last seen in the sci-fi drama Dollhouse – which was ludicrously cut short – and it was reported that she would be taking the lead on a new drama, Bird Dog, but now it seems she will instead be starring in a CBS project that has yet to be titled.
The show is a “sports radio-themed comedy” in which Dushku will play Casey, the on air sidekick to Damon Wayans’ cocky disc jockey.
It will be good to have her back on the screens, my Dollhouse DVD is starting to skip from over use.
