Glee music supervisor teases new songs
Lea Michele Perhaps it’s the way forward, but perhaps leaking and teasing new songs is the way forward.
We’ve had it from Lady Gaga and Britney Spears, and now it’s the turn of Glee to tease their fans with some bits and pieces about upcoming songs in the series.
The show’s music supervisor, Adam Anders, has revealed that producer Max Martin, who has had involvement with Kelly Clarkson and Britney Spears, has been in charge of a new track written especially for the show.
“We’ve done 30 of his songs on Glee and he just loved the idea of being a part of something that is such a cultural phenomenon. It wasn’t hard to convince him to do it.”
The song, entitled “Loser Like Me”, is described as a “Gleek anthem”, with a fast tempo and summer hit, and a second song written specifically for Lea Michele is called Get it Right.
Both new songs will air on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show this Friday and the episode featuring them airs in the US and March 15.
