Robert Pattinson: Taylor Is Too Buff To Hold
Robert Pattinson The actors play werewolf Jacob Black and vampire Edward Cullen in the hit film franchise. Taylor’s Jacob and Robert’s Edward spend most of the latest movie Eclipse competing for the attention of Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart, coming to blows several times.
Robert loved filming the dramatic scenes, but was left horrified after one confrontation because Taylor’s physique was too bulky for him to get hold of.
“I loved those confrontational scenes,” Robert explained. “I get to push Taylor Lautner around. Of course, I was supposed to grab his shoulder to freak him out and turn the scene upside down.
“I grabbed, but his shoulder is too big to get a grip on. That was embarrassing.”
However, Robert’s pride was not hurt for too long – he got Taylor back in the very next scene, which saw the star having to don a tight-fitting wolf costume. Robert says he treated Taylor like a pet dog, patting him on the head every time he was within reach.
“I got him back when he had to dress up in a grey spandex wolf suit. I would pat his head like he was a dog,” Robert told the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper.
