Michael Jackson’s family would encourage his children to become “performers”.

The late ‘Thriller’ star’s three kids - Prince Michael, 13, Paris, 12, and eight-year-old Prince Michael II, known as Blanket – are under the care of his mother Katherine Jackson and are already showing strong signs of the same musical talents of their famous father and his brothers, who formed the Jackson 5 when they were children.

Michael’s brother Marlon Jackson revealed: “I truly believe that God blessed this family with the gift of music to make people happy all over the world.

“If the children want to become performers, that’s fine with me and my mom, but they also have to get an education.”

Although the children are primarily looked after by Katherine, the rest of the Jackson family are also heavily involved in their care, with Michael’s sister Janet Jackson taking a particular interest in their welfare.

Michael’s brother Tito Jackson added to In Touch magazine: “Janet will do anything that she feels is necessary for her niece and nephews.”

Michael died of acute Propofol intoxication aged 50 last June.

The two elder children’s mother, the ‘Billie Jean’ hitmaker’s second wife Debbie Rowe has virtually no contact with them, while Blanket’s mother is unknown.

We should allow Michael children to speak for him, they knew him best the last five years of his life, and he knew his children. Michael children love him words cannot explain. But almighty God love him best and now he in Heaven, happy the way things are going for his three children now, i love the way Michael sing, he was one of the greatest singers of all times, he is the greatest to most of his fans. So i hope Michael kids read this and contact me, because i will tell the kids, what they already know, they had a great dad, Happy father day Michael and say hello to my dad he would be 101 now, God bless Michael children, and may they remember the fun times that they had with their dear old dad, he pass away from this life young, now three year with God above. Thanks, and have a great day.

I HOPE that Michael's kids will be able to get on with normal lives and only later go into showbusiness if THEY want to with NO BULLYING from the family. Only yesterday read that children with over ambitious parents (as Joe was)usually go on to have a damaged relationship with that parent as a result of the pressure (there is always a price to pay) and also read there can NEVER be any justification for beating youngsters (as Joe did) if they make mistakes when learning. Essentially this is sub humanising the youngster/s. And what human does not make errors when learning something (music or other)? I have read this in a book printed in 1975 so it is certainly not the statements made by modern research . Therefore the side effects of this type of parental pressure have been known for decades. Makes me sick how people out there can possibly think Joe was justified in doing what he did. Why could he not have shown love and encouragement instead? Would have got just the same results and I also think the family would have been even MORE successful than they have been. I bet there were times when the boys felt like taking a crop to JOE when he was cheating on Katherine. Above all this family must never forget that Prince, Paris and Blanket are NOT their children. They were Michael's. I hope the social services etc have made this very clear to the Jacksons.
