Harrison Ford’s final outing as Indiana Jones will be “emotional and exciting”.

The Hollywood star is well-known for his portrayal of the archaeologist and adventurer, and has agreed to reprise the role one last time. Indiana Jones 5 will begin shooting next year, and much of the plot line will be centred around the Bermuda Triangle, an area over the North Atlantic Ocean where a number of aircraft are said to have disappeared.

“George (Lucas) and Steven (Spielberg) have been working on a script and it's almost there," a source explained. “Harrison is on stand-by for filming next year. This looks like being an emotional and exciting conclusion to the franchise, with Indy facing his biggest challenge yet.”

The last film in the franchise, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, was released in 2006. Shia LaBeouf played Indiana’s son Mutt Williams, and he will also appear in the new instalment.

Movie bosses have assured fans the film will stay true to the series’ roots, and won’t contain lots of state-of-the-art special effects.

“Shia LaBeouf has a central role again as Indy's son but this will be a blockbuster made in the old fashioned way rather than the CGI efforts of the last movie,” the source added.

We are not the only ones who have reported on this story, it is not something we fabricated. Our media partner The Press Association have also reported on the same rumour, and so have other reputable and reliable sources.

Like we said on our previous post, Frank Marshall has now said they are still in the “research phase” and have not set a filming schedule.

We will have a follow up to this story to clarify things. Thanks guys :)

I changed my posting name to "MusicRooms" for this post...... because I wanted to see how easily that alleged post from musicrooms.net below could be faked now that this site has lost any credibility with me.

The header on that last post makes it unclear if it was directed TO musicrooms in general, or FROM musicrooms, or to musicrooms' commentors. In any case, it is neither a retraction nor an apology. To the staff, please clarify.

Musicrooms.net Team:

Thanks for all your comments. I followed up on this story and was told the source quote appears to have come from a movie insider.

It was widely reported Indiana Jones 5 was due to begin shooting next year. However producer Frank Marshall has now said they are still in the “research phase” and have not set a filming schedule.

There used to be standards in reporting "news." This is just outright lies. Either someone (the source) really lied to the writer... or the "journalist" who wrote this tends to make up his sources to make the article better. Considering that this has been picked up by every major movie sight and thoroughly discredited, I would think the writer of this would be ashamed for publishing it. If the writer wrote it just to get attention, there are better ways of getting it then writing rubbish news.

This is the part that tells me that this is bullshit:

"Movie bosses have assured fans the film will stay true to the series’ roots, and won’t contain lots of state-of-the-art special effects."

So what you're telling us is that the "bosses" (weak) sent their nameless faceless drone to musicrooms.net to assure fans of the content in a project they don't want to publicly acknowledge that they are working on. Brilliant.

also this:
“George (Lucas) and Steven (Spielberg) have been working on a script and it's almost there,"

So they didn't hire a writer to pen the script, eh? For the first time in this series. If that's true, this is the worst news ever. Lucas is a shitty writer.

Not to mention what Manorto said about 2006.

Do this **** to Star Wars fans. They got 6 movies, a metric ton of video games and an animated series. To toy with Indy fans who have been loyal yet neglected by Lucas is just cruel.

Write a retraction or get your facts straight and follow up on this.

"The last film in the franchise, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, was released in 2006". This sentence is all we need to take this article seriously.

Until this is substantiated in some way, it's just a rumor. A rumor I desperately want to be true!!!
